Car weight and weight distribution with full tank of gas?
Car weight and weight distribution with full tank of gas?
Trying to mess with the weight distribution a bit (i get the whole forward momentum pushes the weight back idea but nearly every front-mid engine car in a tier above is more lile 47 front and 53 rear)
anyways after almost attempting the same with my old z3 that was 52 up front, i realize the 2 percent was to offset the driver when they get in the car.
i saw our weight distribution was 54 up front and i had a lot less grip (tail just kicks out more) when i have less fuel. Is that 54 including a full tank of gas? Is it more like 50/50 with a full tank?
i noticed if you fully race prep a 2000's mustang (no ac, irs, roll cage, etc) it becomes almost exactlly 50/50. Guess they had a reason for making it so nose heavy stock.
ideally im going to put the battery in the back and i hear the cf hood doesnt do much so im out of ideas since i dont want to ditch the ac.
if the full tank makes it more 50 50 then sweet, but i doubt it, or should i?
