Hey everyone, I know there are so many threads on this, but I don't want to take over someones thread so I made my own!
I wanna fix the fitment on my rear, because it looks like it majorly missed leg day(( I have the stock 18's, don't really know the offset.. it is lowered on some BC coils(I bought the car with them, so I also don't know how much it was lowered)
Check the pics and shoot me your suggestions, hopefully you can get an idea of how awful it is.
That's the route I plan to take temporarily until I can buy some new wheels and tires... which are god awful expensive & I like the stock wheels.. just not the size.
Oh boy, a clean white canvas. White coupes are dope af. Nice car bro. Tell me it’s 6MT!? People talking about tire size but your rear wheel is waaay too sunken in. But here is the deal... If I were you, I wouldn’t bother messing with it. If your saving up for your dream wheels, instead just wait until you need new tires and pay 1.5x for the tires and get some knock off cast wheels and cheap tires of whatever wheel your eying. There is some company (if you want to know, I’ll dig up the name, can’t remember) that makes a decent quality cast wheel that are exact replicas of all the best wheels out there. They have about 8-12 of dopest wheels (mine are there obviously and they are like 800 a set. If you skimp on the tires the difference to get the wheels and tires isn’t all that much compared to nice tires on your wheels.
But why do this? Well... you’ll be looking hot first of all. Second of all, you’ll be able to fine tune your height and size. For example, I bought my dream wheels and turns out I should have got a slightly different offset in the front. If you get it perfect great! If not, you’ll know for when you buy the real set down the road (but the cheap is will hold you over for a while). Third of all, your gonna get the wheels and you’ll see how your driving habits have an impact on your them. I promise you that will curb a wheel. Or a valet will curb a wheel. Or this or that... you basically get a set of training wheels. If it gets ****ed up, whatever. You get a mulligan
Anyways, that’s my 2 cents. If you the boring answer then throw some 25mm spacers on the rear and 20 in the front.
Yo man, I really do appreciate your 2 cents!! Surprisingly since I bought the car in March I haven't curbed it once! Im so beyond careful with it, even though the previous owner definitely curbed it a couple times Also no worries for a valet, no one besides myself is driving that car!! Anyways, I'm going to pull the trigger and buy some wheels! Kinda lost though, because I honestly don't know crap about offset, what width wheel to get, and most importantly, how big of tires I can fit on all 4 corners! If you have any advice, PM me to help me out? I would really appreciate it!
Hey everyone, I'm sure there are countless threads already containing this info, but I just created my own to not barge into anyone else's thread!
Anyways, I am getting ready to pull the trigger and finally buy some wheels for my coupe... the problem is I don't know what offset to get, how wide to go, or simply any of that I am planning on doing a square setup(lame I know), so if anyone has advice on my offset and tire width, please help me out!!!
