Hey everyone!
As everyone knows, 2020 is full of misfortunes.. including my g37 coupe throwing a rod;(
The point of the post comes down to this, I need to make sure a later version vq37vhr is compatible with my car! The motor I want to purchase is from a 2015 q50 RWD, and it will be going into my 2012 g37 RWD. Does anyone know if the engines are the same? Did they alter the motors over the years of production? The sales rep at the company says it will work, but sometimes they say things just to get money in their pocket.... Any and all help would be so greatly appreciated, lets keep the car community strong!!!

 

Yes it will fit but you will need a few of the parts from the old engine as well. Some of the brackets will be a bit different to the accessories. Nothing major.

 

But the major parts will line up well? Like the tranny, and such! I plan on having them take many parts off such as the water pump and alternator.. and other things! Thanks!
