IPL production numbers - How many?

All the IPL start out as the S model - there is really no way to tell by the VIN unfortunately. I've emailed Nissan and Infiniti North America and no one is really able to put a number to total sales. I was speaking to a guy from Nissan North America an ZDAY and he said he would be comfortable saying it was less than 1000.

No problem - I actually had never heard of the IPL before I bought mine. I had just sold my S14 and was about to pick up a NISMO 370 when my car showed up locally.
I kicked around the idea of starting a registry on FB but "the scene" is so filled with ricer F&*kboi's I didn't want the headache.
