Just got a g37 a little bit ago. At first the open/close function on the moonroof was a bit slow to respond, but it still worked. However, now it won’t open or close, except for maybe every 6 days or so. It’s really strange. It only works 2% of the time. Which is unacceptable. The worst part is right now it is stuck in a tilted position...

I have looked everywhere for info On how to fix, but all I seem
to find are the people who have it stuck but hear a grinding noise. They then tighten the screws inside the light dock/sunroof motor dock, or do that re-calibration reset button holding it for ten seconds and all is well.

none of those apply to me here because there is no sound coming from the motor at all. And at this point the open/close/tilt switch is completely unresponsive, even when holding it down for a long time.

should I order a new sunroof motor or might this be something more sinister with fuse cables etc?

i don’t have a warranty so I only want to call Infiniti as a last resort. Thank you for your help
