Turn G37X to G37XS
Turn G37X to G37XS
Hey Guys,
I'm having hard time finding Coupe G37XS I see plenty of coupe G37X. I was wondering, If I decide to buy G37X, what can I do in term of suspension upgrades to make it feel like or even better than G37XS?
Thanks,

The steering really makes the difference. I have an xS sedan (which gets very few of the S-coupe upgrades) and converted to big brakes. I wish I could have coupe's steering response and lower seats though.
If you want to do a mechanical conversion, you'll need new springs, struts, & brakes, new steering rack, new VLSD differential (idk how this works with the AWD) and flappy paddles (if 7AT). Visually youll need new seats, badges, front bumper cover and headlights, iirc.
Yep, definitely worth getting the sport from day 1 instead of trying to upgrade. It will cost you more and be more of hassle. In addition to the items BeeW mentioned, interior is also different in that you'll need the aluminum pedal kit and you will also need a new factory color spoiler.
Good question, I >think< there is a different Sport spoiler on the sedan models as well, but the coupe has its own special Sport spoiler. My G37X did not have the Sport package so it came with the chrome trunk "finisher" which really isn't a spoiler. I lucked into a deal on a new factory Sport spoiler for my G37 and had the dealer install it for peace of mind as I didn't feel comfortable drilling into the sheetmetal of my precious G37!
