G37xS - No such thing

I ordered a 2010 G37x from my dealership in January, and they said that the sport package was not available on the G37x. Whats up? I see some owners here are claiming to have the G37xS model, but I was told that it was not an option.

Is there really a G37xS? Or did some owners just add suspension, wheels and brakes to a G37x?

There had better be such a thing - I ordered one myself! That said, the S package is significantly diminished on the AWD model - you basically only get the wheels, seats, paddle shifters and front-end cosmetics. No new brakes, suspension or diff, which is why that package is $1000 cheaper on the AWD compared to the RWD.

Yeah, good point! I ordered the sedan. Also, your local dealer might be full of BS. The guy I spoke to at Infiniti of Marin tried to claim that Infiniti don't let you order cars at all!

That makes some sense, as I ordered the G37x coupe. Still suks that the coupe can't get the sedan's limited sport pkg, which I would love to have available for my car. The seats alone would be worth it for me.

Is there a reason why the S pkg isn't available for the coupe?

b/c the AWD already adds weight, and they didn't want to add 19" wheels to a coupe and put all season tires on b/c it will be slippery compared w/ the 18" wheel as well as raise the price up

Maybe look on the Infiniti website and do a custom build to see which options is allowed to be added. If the option comes up, then it should be able to be ordered.

Also look on the available option sheet, those are usually very specific.
