Does re-welding regularly harm stock exhaust?

Hello guys,
So I want a really loud sound for my car and cant afford an exhaust system, so I decided to put an exhaust cutout valve. But since I live in UAE, I have to pass a certain test every year and to be able to pass it, I should have the stock exhaust. So yearly I will be removing the cutout valve and installing it again right after the test, so my question is, does welding the stock exhaust twice yearly cause any damage to it?
thank you

No, but if you keep cutting and rewelding you will keep introducing possibilities for leaks.

Make a removable cutout with a flange.

Yes you can use exhaust clamps and fit the connector over the original pipe.

BTW UAE does have really cheap labor I guess. Cut and weld twice a year would not be economical in any sense here in the good ol US of A haha.
