Hi guys, I have owned my 2010 6MT G37S coupe for about 8 months now and I'm planning on getting it tuned in the next couple of months. I was wondering if it is possible to have a daily map that will improve fuel economy while keeping the engine safe/not causing any damage. Thanks

 

Yes

Uprev allows for multiple maps (5?); you can choose one to be designated as a eco setting. I opted not to since I'd never use it so I have Map:1 Performance and Map:2 Valet.

 

There's multiple ways to achieve this but at the end of the day to get best results you would need someone who is knowledgeable in tuning.

 

Ya I've seen that video and was wondering if you can get something similar to that on a G37.

 

Find a good tuner. I went with SOHO Motorsports. I have 5 different maps, no "eco" one but I'm sure you could have one built.

 

Also went through Soho and have experience with tunes in different platforms. It can improve fuel economy, but the biggest issue will be keeping your foot out of it, at least I've found.
