Consequences of semi-straight pipe(no muffler, no resonator but still have cat)?

As the name if the topic suggests, are there any bad consequences of simi-straight pipe(no muffler, no resonator but still have cat)? Anyone have some experience with this set up, please share me your thought....

1. Will there be any lost in horsepower and toque?
2. Do I need to get tune for this setup to have my car run properly?
3. How bad is the drone? (Comparing to an actual catback system)

1: no

3: Most people without resonators regret the decision to remove it/them.
4: You would no know this had you expended even an one minute of reading and searching in the Tech/Engine, Forced Induction & Drivetrain/Intake & Exhaust forum.
