2008 g37 sport questions
I have a 2009 G37S coupe, 6MT. There is no rev match. My boss recently purchased a 2009 370Z, 6MT. He does have rev match.
He took me for a ride and I don't like the rev match. When I shift, I need to know my car and hit the shift at the right RPM. It's part of the fun of driving a stick car, IMO.

He's probably referring to the automatic but yeah the 6MT G's do not. The Rev Match on 6MT Z's will blip the throttle on downshifts better and more consistently than a human can, I wish I had it.

Every manual transmission has the option of rev match... google "toe and heal shifting"
I don't mean to be a d*ck, but some times, the things that are difficult to do are enjoyed MORE when mastered!

lol - I agree. I never understood the point of rev matching when driving a manual. If rev matching was that important, I would just buy an automatic.
