Is a NISMO plate frame tacky?
Agreed. I use the "Cruiser" frames with gunmetal fender washers. It's a nice, clean look, IMO.
Then there's this, which is black silicon instead of metal:

I have the Outcast garage one on there now; came with the coilovers I bought off a member here on the forums. My thin black frame broke after hitting a deer so it was meant to be a place holder but oddly enough, I've had people compliment me on it. Decided to keep it on there for now.
Well, not exactly but technically, in Japan...Ok who am I kidding.
I don't think it looks bad though.
Ok, now that's pretty awesome. Do you get a lot of interaction with that from other people on the road?

I didn't realize the 370GT emblem had connecting tabs, instead of each character as its own piece, like the G37S emblem, or the INFINITI / SKYLINE emblems.
That would really bug me. Seems kind of cheap looking, as a one-piece mold.

I do agree with you there. I have toyed with the idea of replacing the "370" with that from the Z- which is single lettering but in a different font style. The "GT" portion I can tolerate and the "S" is not Nissan OEM anyway...
It's not the 370GT emblem itself that I've issue with. In full disclosure, my trunk declares to the world that I drive an Infiniti Skyline
. It's the little connecting tabs between the letters that seems off.
And yeah, I'm not into that funky "S", right out of the mind of this guy:
