IPL Bumper Fog light conversion question
IPL Bumper Fog light conversion question
Hey guys I am looking to get the IPL bumper for my 2013 xS coupe off of the official infiniti parts website. I can see that they also sell a fog light conversion kit. I was curious as to what this was and if its a requirement in order to fit my current fog lights (stock) onto the new ipl bumper. Thanks in advance!
Having done this myself is here is my emails from Sewell Infiniti regarding my conversion:
The fog light conversion kit is a plastic ring that mounts to the inside of the IPL bumper allowing the fog lights to then be installed. The fog lights are separate parts. Based on the information you provided below – The IPL front bumper will come with filler grilles that fill the area where the fog lights would mount. Meaning for your car the bumper will come complete out of the box and it will not be necessary for you to install fog lamps for a finished look. If on the other hand you want to install fog lamps you will need to order the following additional parts:
·Fog lamps x 2
·Slim washer reservoir (The existing washer reservoir is too big and will not allow the fog lamps to clear)
·Fog lamp conversion kit
-Washer bottle with pump 289101NL0A
-Right foglamp 261508993A
-Left foglamp 261558993A
-Foglamp bolts 08911-1062G 4 needed
-Foglamp nuts 08146-6165G 4 needed
-F22561A39A, F22571A39A. <-Those would be the IPL specific foglamp grills. Same thing as what came on the IPL bumper you have, except with black bezels instead of chrome.

Everything I can get from Infiniti says the IPL/Aero bumper cars were not offered with Intelligent Cruise Control. We can not guarantee that the ICC will still work once you install an Aero kit and would recommend against using it even if it does work. The regular cruise control will still function normally.
**END**
I wanted everything to be OEM for the most part. I installed a 3000k HID kit in the fog lights from Diode Dynamics. I've been running those for over 4 years now with no issues. I also had to wire my factory fogs (which are located in the headlight housing) to the new fog lights. It wasn't hard at all and I hate electrical work.

Help with the fog light on IPL front bumper
Hi
i just recently bought the G37 IPL front bumper and it appears that they discontinued the brackets and the housing of the fog light. Does anyone have any idea where can I buy it and apparently the dealership got no clue on how it looks and whatever parts they send seems to be all wrong. I looked thru eBay, Amazon, Z1motorsports and even conceptzperformance and it doesn’t look like either one of them sells it so please let me know I need your help.
