Question Coupe Shakes and doesn't Start

Hello all,

long time G37 coupe owner and first time poster.
I'm hoping someone can help me with my issue.
For some reason I'm having a tough time starting my G37. When I try to start it my car shakes a bit and not sure if it's related, but a smell a little fuel in the process of it stalling out.
I've been googling a lot on what the possible issue could be and I was hoping it was something I could take care of before I take it to the dealership.
Another note, I realized I can get the car to start if I quickly take my foot off the brake and ease it on the accelerator. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

Stillen 3rd gen Cold air intake

Look in the Tech/Engine, Transmission & Drivetrain forum. I suspect the fuel damper or one of your fuel rails has sprung a leak. Any dash lights?

No dash lights other than my check engine light, but that's because I have high flow cats installed.
So I checked out some of the posted in the forums you suggested and the common diags are either the throttle body or mass air flow sensors.

This is the response I got from the dealer. Not sure if they're diag is the correct one. Any thoughts?

I call shenanigans on the sensors. Another member reported this same diagnosis and I can't for the life of me figure out how catalyst debris can travel upstream.

As for the cats, you can thump the cases and listen for loose substrate. Since they're aftermarket, that dealer is using them as an excuse for your problems.
