Ok i need to change my Cam sensors in my car to remove the check engine light and to stop it from randomly shutting off while i drive sometimes. i was told by the dealership that it would be best to bring it to them and let them do it because it has to be reprogrammed and only they can do it. Is there any truth to that or were they just trying to hit me with the okie doke. Second question, i'm getting ready to change my wheels again but this time i want to go with the concave look. what is a safe tire size to go with without having to roll the fenders?

I have not changed the Cam sensors, nor have I researched it. But I have changed a ton of other sensors. I can tell you this: Sensors themselves are usually unintelligent devices. That is to say they simply observe and send data. In other words, just like most of the words that come out of a dealerships mouth, it sounds like Bull$hit. A little searching on here, I am sure will show you that many a owner has changed them themselves.

Wheels? Don't make your/our car look stupid.
