Better MPG in Sport mode?

I’ve been getting bored with the 7AT recently so I decided to drive with it exclusively in sport mode the past two days (without using the paddles/shifter). I reset the MPG counter when I started driving in sport and I found I’m getting ~25mpg while in normal drive mode I’ve been getting ~20mpg. I’ve just been driving my daily route as well. Is this a fluke or is sport mode more efficient somehow?

Two days? Wait until you've burned through two tanks then report back.

I think it is also to susceptible to "how" you are driving. Casual driving in Sport mode isnt too utterly different then normal, but once you start giving it a bit. But who knows, maybe it is both better gas mileage and more fun

Aggressive driving in sport mode for me I get 17/18 MPG and casual driving in sport mode I get closer to 20 MPG.
