Racks or Hitches - even q60

There's a handful of threads out there about racks or hitches for the coupe, but most are just people cracking on the person for wanting a hitch on such a car. Nothing definitive. And the q60 forums I found weren't too well populated. So...

I want a coupe and I want to carry a bike without temporary suction cups or temporary trunk mounts. Want a trailer hitch mount or a roof rack adapter for yak or thule type crossbars. A coupe, not a sedan, and later model than 2008. A 2013 G37xS or even a 2015 Q60S AWD. I'm not towing anything, I would just want a solid hitch to mount a hitch bike rack to. Alternately, a yakima (or other brand) roof rack mount for the coupe.

There seem to be some for the sedan but not for the coupe.

Anyone have a concrete example (pics, brands, model numbers) of a hitch or a roof rack adapter that works with a 2013-ish AWD coupe, or a more recent q60 coupe?

Thanks.

I've done this on my 2014 Q60.

CURT also offers a hitch....

I had the same delima but decided on a hitch rack. I'm going to install the curt hitch this winter sometime. How to video on etrailer.com. I have a 2008 so your car may be different. I kind of wanted a roof rack but didnt want the mpg hit for my daily commute plus I cant pull into the garage w bikes on the roof and I can w a hitch.

There is an ad in Classifieds for a coupe roof rack. I can't tell you the type but it was used to carry bikes.

Thanks @pope, that's what I was hoping to see specifically (I'm considering a 2015). So it looks like the real downside is the flexibility of that aluminum bumper. Looks workable for 1 bike though. i don't mind the little cut or having it stick out low... the flex and bounce is the only thing that concerns me. I guess that's hard to quantify without seeing it in person.

btw, that curt hitch isn't listed as fitting the coupe. i don't know if it's just their site not being complete or if there's actually a difference. I wouldn't mind ordering it, trying it, and returning it... if I had the car! I don't have one yet though... I'm right about to pull the trigger but not being able to carry a single bike is a deal breaker for me sadly.

You're right, the aluminum bumper bar is indeed flexy.
It's fine for one bike on a single hitch rack. Or a double hitch rack that isn't extremely heavy.
But when I had my trail bike and my downhill bike on together, I used a pair of ratchet straps to lift/brace the rack to hook points behind the folded rear seat. It was solid with the straps. But I wouldn't recommend two heavy bikes on a hitch rack without it.
