Has anyone tried any of these hitches?

Infiniti G37 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch - 2009 | etrailer.com

I'm looking to attach a snowboard and ski hitch rack system.

If so, I'd like to know whats involved in installation to see if this something I can do myself. The reason I'm looking at trailer hitch is because it'd be much easier to take off when I'm not in the snow and looks better for the summers and whatnot. TIA

Hope you caught the part about facia trimming required on your rear bumper. I've been looking for a received hitch for a light weight trailer but will not trim my bumper facia. If you get one post pics so I can see how much trimming was required and is there a way that or not..

I just had a Curt hitch installed on a 2009 G37 Journey Premium sedan. The only trimming that's involved is the black underbody panel under the rear of the car, not the bumper cover. Nicely made and powder coated. I had it installed and it took them an hour. I would recommend having someone install it that knows what they're doing since it's a two man operation to slip the hitch between the bumper cover, insert the aluminum facia spacer and line every thing up to get the bolts started. Total cost for the install plus hitch was $194 and well worth it in my opinion.

It's the Class I Curt hitch. 1-1/4" opening. Used for a Sportworks bike carrier so no wiring was involved.

Does anyone have a picture they can post of what needs to be trimmed in order to install the Curt hitch on the G37 sedan? I'm a little wary of trimming anything, so I'd like to see what it looks like before taking the plunge. Thanks in advance!
