Anyone has a borla catback on their G? Seems like nobody even knows that borla makes exhausts for the G. I have yet to see a decent thread/review/video about it. I really want to get one for my g37 coupe but I would like to see what others are saying first.

 

Personally believe that Borla goes more towards muscle cars than our cars that's probably why.

We continued our innovation through that platform for the 370z/G37. As a former owner of a VQ myself, I can tell you this engine has a lot of potential, and this system is a great way to unlock it.

Check out this clip I found of a G37 system, I think you will find the deep tone and sporty rumble to your liking. There's also no drone or that raspy tinny sound - our stuff is made of T304 stainless steel and backed by a million mile warranty.

 

I already saw that video and it's very old and outdated just like the rest of the videos of the exhaust on youtube. The lack of recent reviews of the exhaust really throws me off, not to mention I checked with vendors and the exhaust system is on back order for 2 months.

I just installed the Borla catback on my 2011 IPL and the sound is much better than on the above video. IMO it sounds better than the Tanabe axleback I had on my last G-37 and it only costs about $200 more for the whole system. Further, the angle cut tips look so much nicer than the oem tips. It did take me about two months to get the system because it was on back order. It sounds like they are now caught up with demand. Sorry, I don't have the ability to make a video.
