Can a 370z key fob be reprogrammed for the G37 coupe? Mine is pretty worn out and there's a guy selling his brand new spare 370z key fob for $25.

I would say yes.
The only key fob I have that works on my car says Nissan on it.

 

If the buttons are the same just swap out the electronic board. Cheaper, and wouldn't require reprogramming ALL keys.

Well that rules that option out. Find a Nissan or Infiniti fob that matches and swap the guts out. If the FCC ID#'s match on the "Z" fob than you should be able to have it programmed but there are no guarantees. You will have to take ALL of your key fobs to have them reprogrammed ($$$). You can not just program 1 keyfob as that will render your others useless.

 

How do I swap the key fob guts out? After I swap them out I still have to go to the dealer to get it reprogrammed? How would I open my trunk with this key fob? And what kinda prices am i looking at to make this key work?

So I pop it apart and just put my infiniti chip in the z fob and check if it works right
