I believe the caps on the new battery can be popped off. Most are considered maintenance free. To confirm, you want me to open it and fill it more?

Not to the top

Fill to the fill ring below the top after you remove the caps using distilled water

Use a flashlight to see it

I am getting a new battery tomorrow. It is a Bosch from Pepboys, it is $104, has a 96 month Pro Rate with 3 year free replacement and 640 cca

Anyone have any thoughts, I saw something about the Bose amp causing a drain.
Sears and Kmart DieHard Gold 50823 (north) and the DieHard Gold 50923 (south) are the 2 highest rated batteries for our car according to consumer reports. Just picked up the 50823 for $95 after tax at Sears. Paid online, to get the online discounts, for instore pickup. These are 24F

I got a battery, it is a bosch 35, but I have already had a problem. I am hoping I accidentally left it on ACC again. When I parked, I realized I hadn't turned off the radio, which I heard could be a cause of the drain. So I turned it off and then as far as I know turned off the car.

Today I get off work early and the car won't start. Someone at work jumped it. The first time I tried to start it, it cranked and didn't start. Same with the second, the third time it started. The battery was really dead though. The two times it hasn't started at work I had it sitting all day and it was pretty hot out.

When this has happened, I have pressed the brake pedal and it stayed down like someone was still pressing it. It feels like something electrical and not necessarily the battery, I just spent 114 for a new battery. When I hooked up my co-workers car for a jump, it took a few minutes to start. It cranked two times before starting. I took the car to the place I bought the battery to get it tested, it tested fine. Started fine as well. I changed to my spare fob to see if that helps. I have only had the car 8 months. I am so frustrated. I have a G37S Sedan with Automatic.

To add, not too long ago, I found a plastic nut on the floor and didn't know where it came from. I will look around, perhaps it is near the brake pedal. I kept the nut in the car and thought to myself, "hopefully this doesn't cause a problem.

Could be from floor carpet fastener. There's one by fuse cover by pedals.

Yea, thats just the little nut that helps keeps the carpet and/or fuse cover in place.

2008 Infiniti G37 Parasitic Drain

Hello!

I’ve tried the suggestion of trying to find the part/device that is draining my battery by going through the steps I’ve found online. The problem is when I hook my multimeter up to my battery post and terminal the car horn keeps beeping off & on and the reading on the meter fluctuates wildly up and down so I can’t get an accurate sense of what the amp drainage is.

Does anyone have an idea of what I’m doing wrong? Thanks!

Your car is tripping the alarm, while this is happening, Unlock the vehicle with the fob and it will turn it off.
