TBH it's not horribly noticeable but it's definitely a shade lighter. If it were me, I'd say "F" it and go for it if it was the one. WTH is 3-500 bucks to get a car to "perfect" in your eyes.

Carmax typically overprices cars IMO but going back to my point - (Example) you pay 20K for it and 20,500 makes it perfect, 100%, does it really matter? Do that, and it only is mismatched for .00001% of your ownership of it...

to me it looks fine. i was at the mercedes dealer recently and took a look at all their brand new white cars. majority of them the bumper wasnt even the same color as the rest of the car lol. so to me its not a big deal. people are paying a good chunk of money for the ipl bumper. ur getting it included with the car at the base price meaning ur getting the bumper pretty much free. to me its not a big deal. and when u get the car and it really bothers u u can get it repainted for probably around $300. and since its in good condition it may even cost less since no body work is needed to be done. on top of that the duraflex bumper will fit like crap. that carmax g37 the bumper fitment looks spot on. if ur intension is to do the ipl bumper anyway why would u want to go out of ur way to find the bumper and get it repainted.

My guess would be that in the original pictures you saw on the carmax website the vehicle was facing a white building/car and you were seeing some of that reflection in the paint. The second round of pics seem to look much closer to a perfect match to me!

For the love of God....I'd be shopping around if I got that quote. Granted you're 18...you're going to get slammed driving a Yaris let alone a G.

Beat me to it. I bet it's $1,200 / month. Go on your parents if possible. If not, there's always the G35 or 350

18 year old with a short driving history + newer model 2-door + maybe a ticket? = great excuse for insurance companies to charge you some crazy numbers. Put it under your parents' name.

The slight mismatch on the front bumper doesn't always mean a bad thing, could have just been a minor fender bender or the previous owner just wanted the IPL bumper. Either way, it's a free mod for you. Besides, paint is always going to have some sort of variance between plastic (front bumper) and metal (hood/fenders) at certain angles.

i wish i had that option but i most likely wont be able to due to my past relationship with my father... if i did manage to, how much do you think it would go down? just a rough estimate?
im still in shock as to how much they're charging for insurance as if anyone would actually take that offer well i hope no one has lol. a year of coverage and youve almost paid the price of the car lol.
