Top Speed Axleback fitment with Autokits V2 Diffuser

Just installed my AKV2 diffuser with the top speed pro 1 axleback non-resonated and right exhaust tip is tucked slightly underneath the diffuser. I've had the exhaust on for a while and while I knew the fitment wasn't perfect, it never bothered me too much since it still cleared the bumper.

The exhaust is tucked enough that the hot exhaust warms up the diffuser quite a bit and I'm worried about cracking over the long-term, especially in the winter.

Now that the diffuser is on and the tip is hanging slightly inside the diffuser, I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck adjusting the exhaust somehow by playing with the hangers or something? Should I get a looser hanger?

Worst case scenario, I'm thinking of maybe even going to an exhaust shop to have them modify both exhaust tips and maybe install some burnt tips

PS - absolutely love the diffuser. Makes it look like a totally different car. Will have to post some pics when I have some time to snap some nice pics

The hanger prongs can be adjusted for slight movements, how far do you need it to move?

You can buy longer rubber hangers to give you more drop

Noob question - can the prongs just simply be bent as a form of adjustment? I'm worried it'll snap or something lol

Ideally I'd like to move the exhaust down maybe 0.5 to 1" and further out another 1" or so. I don't think the latter can be done though?

Worst case I guess longer hangers would work.

I wouldn't start bending stuff my friend lol. The drop you can do yourself, the extension and custom fit I'd have done by an exhaust shop..Peace of mind for $150?

You can absolutely bend them to fit, the hangers sole purpose is to be heated and bent to fit. I used a torch to heat it up and just hit it with a hammer a couple times. Do be careful though, if they bend too much it'll break off at the weld point.

Worst case, any exhaust shop can replace/adjust the hanger super cheap too. Its an easy job for them once the cars on the lift, maybe 15 minutes.

I would take to an exhaust shop tbh. It shouldn't be anymore than a few bucks for them to bend the hanger, or install a new one to your liking.

I too have a bad fitment on the left side. Was considering this, but doesn't bother me enough. You have a valid case though lol
