Smile 2010 G37x Coupe

New member of this forum and new owner of a G37x Coupe that I have a slight issue with.... was wondering feedback from a more experienced group. It being AWD I have the automatic transmission (don't hate me) however when I accelerate off the line, the first what seems like two gears, it nearly jumps out of track. However after those two gear pulls, the car accelerates flawlessly. The VDC control is off and do not believe that's the issue. However some suggested the jumpiness is in the torque converter and may need flushed or replaced. I suggested a transmission fluid change first..... any thoughts?
Thank you.

Welcome, congrats on your new G. Try getting the transmission reprogrammed. There is an updated firmware for the TCM from the dealer, which most people report fixes any jerky shifting and rough gear changes. You will have to pay about 1 hour of labor for it though, which is about $120.

Might get lucky since it's a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) some dealers might do it without charge, possibly the one you bought the car from if it was an Infiniti dealer.

Welcome to the site BTW.
