Like I said, it was totaled, so it had a salvage, but now, it's a rebuilt/reconstructed.

wow, that is a good deal. is it an S model? I'd have to see the pics but 99.99999% of the time I'd never consider a salvage title.

but at least they priced it accurately for bearing such.

It is an S. Thing is, carfax, which considers the accidents and title status said it's worth ~ 15k!
This isn't a shop that doesn't know what they're doing. They only work on Infiniti's.

I think we can conclude its the width of the rear wheels that make the quarter panel look skewed.

IDK about you, but not having my paint match 99.9% would be a big turn off

This happens 95% of the time, it is due to metal/plastic/fiberglass base. Also if they were painted separately...

Most colors is easy to tell on, very few blend well

Yeah I guess. I got my full front end replaced this summer due to a fender bender and the bumper looks a shade darker then the fender

They'll be able to tell ya what you're getting into and why the difference. Maybe it just needs to be adjusted but that's pretty severe.

On a side note, you should just step up and get that blue G with the IPL bumper next to it

A blend should be flawless paint match when you blend you paint say a new bumper you put base just a little bit past the bumper onto the fender and clear the whole bumper/fender you should never be able to tell a color difference if you do you definitely didn't get a blend you got a butt paint left cheek right cheek will be different with an ******* painter lol if u buy the car factor in price for new rims and either partial repaint or complete respray depending on if your able to live with it or not good luck

IMHO .... walk away, some things are just not worth the money. I would NEVER buy a car that was in a serious accident. If funds are that tight this is probably not the car for you as tires, brakes, gas are not cheap.

Why'd they paint the side mirrors black instead of red?

I appreciate the input but I think people are overly-cautious when it comes to that. My last car, a g35 was in a serious accident. I think it even had a bit of frame damage.. I bought it for a discount, had it for five years, and never had a problem. While I suppose it's safe to say that many totaled vehicles aren't good ideas to buy, I think there are many instances in which good deals can be found, and I think this is one of them. There wasn't ANY engine bay/frame damage; all body. The only thing wrong here is the slight mismatch in paint shade between the front bumper and fender, and the slight misalignment of the rear quarter panel. I planned on buying new wheels so that's negligible. IMO, those two things don't come close to outweighing the ~$10,000 I'll be saving off the KBB value. Maybe I'm one of few, but I'm a bargain hunter and a risk taker by nature haha. Worst case, if I'm unhappy with the car for whatever reason, I'm sure I can flip it for 15/16k! ; something I've actuallybeen thinking about doing from the get-go.
