So I think I lost a tooth lol.. J/k but I push that MFer and the harness was loose and the freakin button won't come out so I try to pry it really hard and the button shot me in the mouth. Lesson learned. . . Wear a helmet with visor.
I must admit the first time I tried taking the original push start button out it took me about an hour because I was so scared. Now it's a piece of cake. Once you get it out you won't have any trouble later on
I have a 15 Q60, just finished installing it. I raised the steering wheel column so I was able to get my fingers behind it to help push it out. The two spots that hold the button are at 10 and 4 o'clock and if you can wedge a skinny screwdriver and push behind it, it will help pop it out. Then I was able to keep pulling the button out far enough to see the brown ridge release and poke it with the screw driver to pop it off.
I love my GTR start button but I will say it was the most pain in the a** mod I did for the amount of benefits you get lol
It was a pain to get it popped out but nothing compared to getting it unhooked and hooked up to the cable. Took a min or two to get it popped off and about 25 more to get it unhooked. Few cuts and scrapes later from the plastic and fingering my dash the mod was complete.

lol Glad you got !.. I had mine in for a couple of months now but noticing I have to hold start button for like 2-3 to turn the car off.
