Chron, thanks for sharing the sound clip. Sounds good!
Any drone with that setup?

I had the combo of Invidia Gemini and Megan resonated test pipes, sounds perfect in my opinion.

Borla Mufflers
Has anyone just added borla mufflers? My apologies if this is an irrelevant question. I am looking to add sound on a budget. I looked into the TOPSPEED axle back but I prefer the sound of the Borla. Thanks for any feedback

The shop who did my exhaust posted this to their FB page. I didn't even know my car was on FB as I don't go on there much.
I have the K&N filters in the stock air boxes. The exhaust is the Top Speed Axleback kit. Everything else is stock.

I've done a little searching and reading but haven't been able to wade through (or maybe interpret) the massive amount of available information to find something specific to what I'm looking for. So I'm hoping some of y'all will chime in with your opinions and suggestions.
I recently bought a 2012 x coupe and am looking for the exhaust system that will give me the most improvement in performance. I'd rather not involve test pipes that will need to be switched out for every state inspection. I'd also prefer a quieter system (ie, not much louder than stock), but sound is only a secondary concern. And for right now, I can't really consider anything over $1k.
Any input or advice you guys can give would be much appreciated.

I would get the catback first and then how you like it, the get resonated high flow FI cats for more performance if you can tolerate the sound increase (which isnt a crazy amount either, quietest hfcs)

Can artpipes with stock exhaust make the 3.7 sound louder and deeper?. I don’t want new exhaust since I like stock sounding but I do want it louder and deeper or at least growl at low rpm.
