blind spot monitoring?

I know the later model coupes are available with parking distance sensors but do any of them have blind spot monitoring as well?

If so, what year and option package is required to get it?

thanks...

None that I know of.

Setting your side mirrors so they start where your rear view mirror stops on both sides really helps with the blind spots.

I was thinking about getting one of those.

Coupe blind spots are pretty bad, compared to other cars I've owned.

I hate blindspot RADAR based monitoring. It causes my K Band detector to alert.

I see this a lot on Acura and Audi vehicles when I get behind them.

Some people have installed something similar to this - aftermarket

Amazon.com: DrivSafe Blind Spot Detection Monitors Bsdm Pro-2300: Automotive Amazon.com: DrivSafe Blind Spot Detection Monitors Bsdm Pro-2300: Automotive

It was popular on the Tesla forums a while back.

These mirrors suck. You can't adjust them so you can't see in your BS. Mirrors are supposed to be adjusted so you don't see the same thing in your rear view mirror as you do in your outside mirrors. No other car I have ever had has had this problem. I used to say that no car had a blind spot till I bought this one. I have to push the mirrors out past the detent to make them function correctly.

Yeah, worst blind spot I have ever dealt with. Super stressful to change lanes. I thought about those little round mirrors but absolutely hate the way they look.

Thought it was just me who thought the blind spots in this car was horrendous. My brother's E93 had those tiny little side mirrors and I felt slightly more confident in his car than I do in the G. I could change lanes within inches of another person if I needed to with my old Honda but I feel like I need a meter of space in the G before feeling confident.

Yea, that option although it would be super helpful was never an available package deal from the dealer. The blind spots are very bad, but I've just gotten accustomed to always turning my neck, which isn't always helpful either 😒
