UPDATE:

It arrived.

LOTS of packaging. They made sure it arrived in one piece.

Test fitting looks pretty good. Im impressed overall. It did not come with 3M mounting tape so I need to go get that but the back side of the diffuser has about a 1 inch wide "track" for you to place the mounting tape around the edge.

Also looks like I may need to adjust my exhaust tips so they don't rub but Im not super concerned about that since it's carbon and it won't melt.

I'll probably mount it on Sunday for real.

This is the stuff you need. Take a good hard look at the mounting surface you mentioned. Your link is for 1/2" wide tape. If you can use 1", you should. Even if you have to get both widths and use them here and there...do it. Also, try to find some adhesive primer to apply to the CF first. Looking forward to your install report and final fitment.

You probably already know this but to adjust the exhaust you simply put washers under the exhaust hangers. To take the hangers off you will need to remove one piece on each side that block the bolts of the hangers. Primarily on the passenger side as you cant get to the bolts at all on that side. I just did mine...so just in case you didnt know! It looks amazing I think it worked out great for you...way to go!!!

Right, I will be getting adhesion promoter of some kind. And I was thinking the same, if I can find 1 inch of that specific tape for auto use I will get it. Otherwise I will need to double it up.

Yup! The left side is actually already done that way. I need to see if I can get the right side down a bit. If not, I am dropping the car off in 2 weeks to have my coil overs and camber bolts installed so I will have them take a look then.
