Hello
I just get my first infiniti car and i want to do the oil change by my self but nissan oil is expensive copared with other even syntetics so what you recomend me to use a genuine nissan or other like Mobil 1 or Castrol and if is recomendable Conventional or Syntetic for arround 5k intervals changes
You will get a million answers ....what I have done for the past 35 years is use Mobil1 and target replacement at 3500 miles and don't let it go past 5000. Some will say this is over-kill but I've kept many of my cars at least 10 years and all were over 100k miles and not a single car ever burned a drop of oil (Honda, Suzuki, Toyota, Sterling, Mistubishi, Pontiac, Renault).
In my opinion, the only safe way to use extended OCIs is with oil analysis. Otherwise, you have no idea of how the oil's holding up.
I'm still using-up several pre-paid services that must have carried over from the previous owner (I didn't pay for them). The dealer that's been servicing the car claims they buy Infiniti-branded oil in bulk, which I'm pretty sure is a Mobil mineral/synthetic blend. I have the oil changed every 3750 miles. I'm not sure what I'll do once I exhaust these pre-paid services. Unfortunately, my location doesn't lend itself to DIY oil changes.
Bottom line, any oil that meets the manufacturer's specifications will be fine provided it's changed often enough. Boutique oils are great, but without oil analysis, you run the risk of wasting oil or wasting your engine.

There are a gazillion threads on oil changing.
On my previous 06 G35 6 speed manual I did 48 out of the 53 oil changes myself and purchased my oil whenever is was on sale. I traded it in at 171796 miles and the engine still ran like new.
Old photo taken in 2008. Prices are higher now but I've gotten lazy and just let the dealer do it now. Dealer price includes a wash and vacuum.
Keep in mind the oil capacity is not 5 quarts but 5.2 quarts so when purchasing oil buy 6 quarts.
Any 5w-30 API oil SM, SL, SH that is changed between 3750 and 4k miles is fine. There is no need to use expensive oil which is a waste of money.
Just use the correct API oil that is specified in your owners manual.

Full synthetic oils, good brands like Mobil 1, Pennzoil, Valvoline they should be good. 5k change intervals
Mobil 1 5-30 EP every 7.5K while under warranty and then every 10K.
10K approved by Blackstone UOA.
Warranty would be voided if it's over 3250 right? That's manufactures recommendation but I obviously won't be changing it that often for full synthetic oil.

That is a DEALER recommendation, owners manual is 7.5K.
