Hey guys, just wanted to welcome myself and my ride to the forum. It's a 2008 G37 Black/Black Coupe 6 MT, Sport, Premium, and Technology Package with 53k on the clock. Just came from a totaled 08 335i that was tuned with a Cobb. Probably had somewhere around 380hp or so at the crank. I drove the G35's before, never G37, just buying it through carmax, paid the transfer fee yesterday so it'll be here in a week or so. It already has a light tint, so what are the first couple mods that this car responds to well performance wise? Any tune or anything that's worth it on the N/A engine? Thanks guys!

Not much you can do with the N/A engines, but good choice on the G. In my opinion it's the best looking coupe out of the 328i-335i, C350 coupe. But I can't decide between a A5 and a G37, but the G has better performance.

Lot's of nice thing's you can do, get the IPL front bumper(aero kit), wheels/tires, painted calipers and much more. Even though it's not the fastest it's still a great car that won't trouble you much.

If you get the A5 get an extended warranty. Do some research on the German cars reliability.

Congrats and welcome! Typical mods in addition to the mentioned ones above are CAI, (Stillen, Takeda, R2C) catbacks (Fast Intentions, Stillen, Ark, Tenabe, etc etc) High Flow cats / Pipes and a tune (either up rev or ecu-tek). That's pretty much as far as you'll want to go with these cars. They're not super responsive to mods and bolt ons and a decent tune are the reasonable limit for most people. Wheels and tires too of course and any suspension changes.
