Axel Back Exhaust Ideas Please!

Hey everyone,

Just bought a G37S Coupe about a week ago. Love the car! I am coming from the the Corvette world and I feel like I traded up to a G37. When I test drove it I knew the G37 was quality and a better car ...at least for me. Amazing interior, quite cabin, high tech, quality, no annoying rattles creaks squeeks etc. like a corvette cabin. looks amazing and I saved allot of money too!

I like the stock exhaust. But its a bit tame so I am interested in an axel back exhaust to simply give me a bit more sound when getting on the gas. Unconcerned with adding power so not interested in cat back. Nothing that drones, nor that is loud enough to drown out the stereo or conversations.

I have read around and listened to clips on youtube...
These names keep coming up but I would like to know which is considered top of the line and high quality.

1. Megan
2. TopSpeed
3. Beluga
4. Tanabe Medalion
5. Invidia

Are there other brands that I am missing that are better?
I believe their is an upgraded infiniti axel back but not allot of information on it....

Thanks everyone!

I have the Infiniti OEM sport exhaust and it's perfect for me.

SOUND CLIP:
Sport Accessory muffler. Cold start to idle, a couple 3k revs, a couple 2k revs. Revs start at about the minute mark for those who don't care to wait for the idle to become stable.

Your car looks awesome...I was wondering about putting the OEM spoiler on my Graphite can you PM me some pics of your car?! Thanks

The sound clip didnt work for me ...what is the cost for the axel back sport exhaust and in comparison is it much louder in the cabin?

Thanks for your time Ryne..

The exhaust note is deeper and slightly louder. No drone at all. I'll work on the video.

Yes, OEM sport accessory. I bought mine from a forum member who was going to used it but ended up selling his car.

Coupon Code for 25% off: ESTORE2016

Infiniti of Clarendon Hills

Looks like the going rate here is about $580 shipped.

There is also one for sale used currently:

For OEM that is definitely reasonable! These are direct bolt in no gaskets needed? Thanks for the help!
How do you like the way the tips look...do they stick out too much?

Interesting, I have heard this numerous times but is the Sport muffler not the same as the OEM muffler that came on the Sport package?

I have had Tanabe Medallion mufflers on the last 3 cars of mine and loved them so, naturally, I planned on doing it again.

I have a '13 xS and recently added the OEM Sport muffler... can confirm undeniably that it is absolutely NOT at all the same as the stock muffler that comes with the sport package.

My install thread here

I love the huge tips, and polished finish on the whole kit.

I am very pleased as it does exactly what I wanted: Provides an much more aggressive growl and goes full-on roar at WOT but is a tame slightly deeper growl during normal driving. Not much louder when driving conservatively, but lets you, and everyone around you know you mean business when you punch it.

I too got mine for ~$580 with the coupon online and picked it up at my local dealer
