Pulled the trigger, and got the Top Speed Axle Back from a LOCAL.


LOVE IT.

 

Just had my installed yesterday by local autoshop. Was going to do myself but the 4 bolts were so rusted they had to be torched off. Other than that sounds great, much louder sound than the stock. Why people who said it wasn't louder than stock said what they said is beyond me. I have it with the FI HFC Non Resonated so pretty loud currently getting used to in cabin sound but everything is great. Fitment is a little off considering the left side sticks out a little bit too far but don't notice when looking from back.

 

Mine does not stick out. But, I am not sure why people were complaining about drone. Yes, you can hear it inside the car, but I wouldn't necessarily call it drone... There are no interior vibrations.


I drove around with no muffler for a day and a half due to bolts rusted off (I too had to get it grinded off with a drill). Now THAT IS drone. I guess everyone has different tolerances to cabin sound. The fact that I can hear the back off gurgles inside, mean it probably sounds great outside...


Final thought: GREAT PRODUCT.

 

This is temporary until the summertime when I get full catback system and I'm happy currently just something new.
