Quirks with 2011-2013
Hey guys, new to the forums been lurking for awhile and have been looking at Audi S5s - g37xs finally decided to go with Infiniti.
Ive narrowed it down to 2011-2013 model years, coupe xs of course. I have done some searching and noticed there is not many differences between those years and am just wondering from your guys ownership experiences if there is anything I might be missing?
I have done lots of research just now looking to get your feedback. Thanks! Hopefully will be picking one up soon.

Bluetooth phone and address book integration on the non-nav model is dismal. For me this is the big difference in models. I had a 2010 non-nav, and when I replaced it, made sure I got the nav model. Also the technology package, with intelligent cruise may be something to consider as well. I have it on mine, and couldn't live without it when traveling on the highway. Really reduces the frustration with slower driver's.
Some smaller options to consider are illuminated door sills, specific interior/exterior color combos, rear spoiler add on, sport exhaust muffer add on, ambient footwell lighting kit, midnight black grille.
Between 2011-2013 the only difference I'd see being worth consideration is manufacture warranty. Most 2011's will be out of warranty or expiring soon. I had quiet a bit of refreshing done under warranty while I still had it for my 2011 that I purchased a few months ago.

wouldn't mind getting a earlier year model like a 2011, basically same car but just very small here and there different but could save 3K-5K compare to 2013+. these cars are rock solid so you don't have to worry about anything major repair cost like Audi and Bimmers.
Thanks for all the feedback! I do like the idea of having my music on the harddrive, and I'm not overly worried about warranty although it would be nice to have.
There are 2 I'm looking at right now that are almost identical, one is a 2012 XS with 60,000km on it (I live in Canada) asking 30,995 which I feel I could get for maybe around 27-28 all in and the other is a 2011 XS with only 27,000km and they want 29,800.
I'm slightly sceptical about the 2011 as far as pricing, only one year older but 30,000km less and asking 2 grand less? A little bit odd but I think I might check them both out.

I agree with Telcoman, the music box feature is mostly useless when you have an iPod. It only stores audio CD's, and you can't load mp3 CD's. Would have been a killer feature about 10-15 years ago, but not today.

You can have my music box! In 4 years of owning the car I've yet to put a single cd into it. I don't even know if the cd player works. My music box consists of a 32GB usb flash drive.
After reading that you can't take a Usb drive and import the songs I can live without the hard drive, my iPhone will work just fine.
However after test driving those cars(I loved the drive) I decided I'm going to hold out and look for one with the technology package, I'm kind of a tech geek. Both the ones I drove were silver and Im not a huge fan of silver.
I looked on autotrader and there is a very nice 2013 IPL package but at 36k it's out of my price range.
