Well, spent some money today.

On a 2.5in custom x-pipe and resonated (12 inch resonators) mid pipes to pair up with my Top Speed axle back.

My intakes also showed up today so I went ahead and installed those after work.

Overall I am very happy with the sound, look and performance. High flow cats are next on the list.

UPDATE: Exhaust Video

Nice. Looks good. The HFCs will really open the exhaust up and make it all come together. The stock cats remind me of the SPIRIVA commercial for COPD where the elephant is sitting on everyone's chest and they can hardly breathe. Well that's the stock cats on these cars....

Nice azz BTW....

Yea, HFC's are on my list. I've got a warped rotor right now though so that will probably come first.

Sound clip will be up tonight hopefully. And yes, I told them I wanted 2.5inch piping from the cats back and I had them make me an X pipe and the resonated mid pipes. They added new flanges on each end and eliminated the flanges where the original y pipe met the original mid pipes.

Total was $574 for parts and labor.

Okay cool! I was planning to buy an Invidia Gemini catback. But my friend is a Master Technician for Nissan and he said he can make me a custom exhaust to sound exactly the same and I would just pay for the stainless steel piping. I mean I am very doubtful he can do this (I might be underestimating his skills) but I am thinking about doing it now after seeing yours.

I haven't heard the Invidia one in person. Before with just my Top Speed/Manzo/Beluga (whatever Ebay) axle back the sound was a bit more high pitched.

The 2.5in piping definitely made the sound deeper but it also opened it up a bunch more. No rasp either.

Im hoping the video will showcase it well.

I've been giving test pipes some serious consideration. But it won't be till after i get my FI exhaust installed and then go from there. I worry about rasp. Right now i'm good. I hope to stay that way. We'll see... that's a ways off though.

Seems yer happy with them....
