Roof and Interior Wrapping

Hey G Nation,

I was wondering if anyone on the page has recently or ever wrapped the roof of their car and all of the polished aluminum pieces inside the car. If anyone has a DIY link that would be awesome.

also does anyone else have any inexpensive mods that make a significant difference on the car, either looks or performance?

Roof and Interior Wrapping

There's a diy section with a thread on wrapping your roof along with your window trim. I did mine a couple weeks ago but I'm planning on redoing them. For the roof get the 3m 1080 stuff, take off the backing, heat it up and stretch it so it's already formed to your roof, then squeegee it down to get rid of the air. For the windows I recommend removing the trim. I did them on the car and couldn't cut it cleanly enough so the chrome trim peeks through at spots. It's not noticeable but knowing its there bugs the hell out of me. Besides that, as far as ascetic mods, a gtr button is nice but a modded one is even nicer!

I think only the sedan has the chrome window trim no? Wrapping the interior trim is easy, there's a DIY on here with pics from a few of us who did it

Here's a thread I started on vinyl wrapping the interior trim. You can see mine on the second or third page. It's very easy. Let me know if you need any help.

Yea I think you're right. It looks sharp if you leave everything chrome, but if you black one thing out you gotta black out the rest.

Window trim only applies to the Sedan, but never remove window chrome, it rarely goes back on nice and easy. Wrapping the window trim is easy once you get the hang of it. Just give it another try Born2lse, I'm confident you can get it correct.

The interior pieces are pretty easy, here's my sedan interior wrap thread

As far as the roof, the sharkfin seems to cause the most problems, might check youtube for videos on that.
