Front Grille - Midnight look

Should i vinyl wrap the entire grille black or do it like the Midnight black grilles..? Also... average cost to wrap a grille and how well does it hold up. I'm thinking it could be better than painting it...

You could vinyl wrap for less than $50 easy. I think you can get 30" x 12" sheets for less than $15 if that covers it. If you paint and clear, it could be about as durable as the paint on your car. Vinyl is pretty durable as well since they vinyl wrap entire cars nowadays and it would need less prep (no sanding). It's all about the look you want. Matte, CF, etc. I like mine painted, but if it were matte, I wouldn't have to worry so much about how clean and polished the grill was when I wash it. It's all about trade-offs.

I think I'll try a gloss black vinyl wrap. Professionally installed. I got a quote of $80 if i remove the grille or $125 if they remove it.

I did my grill in Black Plasti Dip...Incredible stuff...If you get a chip, just touch it up...So far it's been great since a year.
