I get this rattling/clicking noise coming from the engine it sounds like. It sounds like the rattling stops once I give it a little bit of throttle but when idle it is very noticeable.
Oil changes every 5k.
Any suggestions?

 

could be the Catalytic Converter heat shield

 

youre not the only one with this problem lol buy a new exhaust man itll clear everything up .

 

Its not the exhaust i had a new catback installed 6 months ago, changed belt 2 months ago.

 

Sounds like lifter tick to me.

 

I have the same sound... turns out mine is the cat. converter.... I found some used oem low mileage ones in the classifieds for cheap. They're supposed to arrive tomorrow and ill put them on as soon as I can. Ill let you know whatsup with them. they retail for like 625 a piece at infiniti plus labor so, id definitely be trying find some original oem cats or aftermarket ones... my 2 cents...
