So no American cars.

No to Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, and BMW.

And has to be a 2 door with a 6MT.

You've eliminated like 90% of the available options

Nissan 370Z or another G37S

Pretty much^^^^..

But you're happy with the G..only wish it had bluetooth audio streaming. That's an easy fix upgrade to a 2011+ with bluetooh streaming capability and new sports front bumper. Or you can change the styling yourself with a IPL kit.

If you are looking for a 6MT RWD car that is under 40k and is not american or german and is better than g37 - you are almost out of options.

You options are:

1. 370z\NISMO\IPL - same thing you got, few extra hp
2. Genesis coupe - similar power, worse interior
3. Wait for new Q60
4. Lotus Elise - unconventional choice, not sure if it will be "better" than G37

So you see your only REAL options are to modify what you have or to wait for new Q60 to come out.

If you really want Bluetooth music streaming from your phone, get this for the time being:

Amazon.com: Kinivo BTC450 Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit for Cars with Aux Input Jack (3.5 mm) - supports aptX: Cell Phones & Accessories Amazon.com: Kinivo BTC450 Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit for Cars with Aux Input Jack (3.5 mm) - supports aptX: Cell Phones & Accessories

I would wait and see how the new production model of the Q60 turns out. However, I'm a bit weary of buying a first year model if it turns out to be turbocharged. I preordered a 335i coupe the first model year and had some issues with the fuel pump and one of the snails.

Go for something different, like FRS, the Z (probably no bt stream either), Civic SI. But If I had $, e92 m3 fo sho. As much as I love my G and think its the sh**, I bow my head when I see that car.

He ssid 2 door, so no STi or Evo.

And more luxury than the G, so Genesis is questionable.

I don't think the RC is available with a 6MT

You are right so there's really not much choice other than waiting for a new Q60

I believe Infiniti has said the new Q60 will be auto only.

It sucks. Those of us that want MT increasingly have fewer and fewer options. I don't blame him for not wanting a German car, but I'd open up my search to 4 doors and America cars to have some more options.

I still think they will have 6MT on their IPL or wahtever they call performance model but it might not be avaibale for a while and it's all just wishfull thinking.

Here's a great option: there's a supercharged G37 coupe that was just listed for sale on here, I've driven the car myself and it's pretty nice. A tad slower than my twin turbo but still very quick. Blutooth streaming can be integrated for a few $.

i kept coming back each day to not find any new posts and was wondering why until i saw there was a second page (doh) .
Anyways.
checked out the RC and its only auto.
i did consider a 370z but felt it might be a downgrade from the g37/q60 line. any thoughts?
FRS doesnt do it for me, looks nice but i feel i have a better car wth the G37/q60. anyone driven one before? what do you think about it?

the GTR i would go for in a heart beat if i could afford it lol.
not that i dont want a bmw but i just feel the maintenance on it is gonna break the bank.
so maybe a 370 or a newer g/q60 what would you guys recomend?

If maintenance is the reason your skeptical about going with a BWM, why not lease one? Free maintenance and your into another car by the time the warranty expires.

before i got my G, i was thinking to get Z. but the reason i go with G because the Z only 2 seater and not enough room in the trunk.
i don't call upgrade if you get the Q60
