from 04 G35 coupe to 08 G37S coupe.

so far it never happened i moved to same brand, because i like to try different cars. but for G, i got everything that i want. style, model, interior, room (but not the trunk for sure), enough power, rwd, manual, LSD (i need to sideways sometimes LOL). and everything just got better on the G37.

I know it was easy to do double din radio on G35 because of the way console was layed out, it appears to be much more complicated on G37 but I do not know exact details on it. Bluetooth music streaming is available on G37 with nav or you can buy an audio receiver for $30 for a car without nav and the receiver will make it work.
Thanks for all your help. The bluetooth streaming is enough for me to leave stock.

Do you see a difference in performance/ride quality and mpg? I drive a 07 5AT coupe. Manualmode is fun enough while still being practical in Stop and go traffic for me so the 7AT awd coupe seems cool to me.

Do you mean you can afford this in monthly payments on a purchase or lease? Or can you actually afford to pay cash for the car?

He already said he was not buying new.

for performance and ride quality, yes there is a big different for me. but not for the mpg. it looks the same. normally i fill the gas once a week for the full tank.

i have the 08 G37 S model. all the features that i need are in there. nav, rear camera, dual zone AC, push start button, BOSE audio, heater seat, power seat with power lumbar, garage door opener (really help me!), etc etc.
some new car still don't have all that features

I went from an 06 G35 Coupe 6MT to a 2012 G37 Sedan 6MT to a 2014 Q60 6MT.

Out of all of those, my Q60 is the best built one.

We all know how unrefined the G35 was, the sounds from that transmission and clutch assembly, LOL.....but DAMN did I love that car.

The 2014 "Q60" has a different grade of leather than my 2012 sedan. The center console also doesnt squeak or rattle, like it did on my sedan.

The 2014 coupe has matured beyond belief in comparison to the 2006 coupe.

Everything from interior materials, sound deadening, door closing, handling, ride quality, screen resolutions, sound system, backup camera, was drastically improved.

Bottom line, there is no other car Id rather be driving (in the 45k range).

I absolutely love driving her every single day of my life.

Yea the nav and rear-active steering was great in the G35! however in my 08 G37 I had the 4-wheel active steering which was awesomer! The limited will will likely never be cheap unless the new design coupe comes out and they start liquidating the inventory. But by then who would want the older design Q60 over the new body design.

Weird, I agree with EVERYTHING you said except the opposite regarding the the build quality of my Q60 vs the 08 G37 coupe. I felt my G37 was better built than my Q60..perhaps I have the bad batch lol.

does the G37/Q60 still have the same ****ty climate control?

Meaning, we still can't recirculate the cabin air w/o forcing the A/C to be on?

In the Q50, they finally upgraded to one where we can control if the A/C is on or not.

as far as mpg goes, the 6mt gets better mpg in city driving and about the same on the hwy.

my g35 would get 17mpg city.

my Q50 gets 15mpg city. Same driving style. those magazine numbers mean nothing in real life situations for me.

My next car will be manual. prolly a 2015 Q60. But the climate control is holding me back.

Did the ras really make that big of a difference? I purposely looked for one without it because my exhaust wouldn't fit if I had it

Thanks. Which did you like driving better? I've heard people say the g35 was more fun while the 37 was more comfortable

Yep, big difference. Makes turning and switching lanes at high speed butter smooth. My G hugged the corners with ease.

There use to be a Nissan video showing the difference.

edit: here it is.

That makes sense. So far I've only done one mod to my G i had a gtr catback custom fit to it. If I would've gotten one with ras it wouldn't have worked because of the size of the resonators. (got the exhaust before I got the car)
