New Member, new to Infiniti, question 1

Hello 37s Forum. I just bought my wife a 2008, 37s. It has 72,000 on the clock and I want to get into top shape for my wife.

I will have all the easy to answer questions later, but first, how in the heck to I turn off the annoying blue blinking light above the rear view? That darn thing is incredibly annoying in the night and I don't find in the owners manual, yet, anything about it.

Thanks in advance,

David

Not sure which blue blinking light you are referring to, can you post a pic? I have a 2013 and I don't have an "annoying blue blinking light above the rear view".

Have never heard of or seen a blue light above the rear view mirror......

Sounds like maybe an after market alarm add on.

I believe he meant the interior light that shine down to your stereo and shifter. That light is not supposed to be blinking or blue. It is supposed to be constant light to let you see your shifter **** and the compartment that hold changes, charging plug.

Pics below:

If you want to change it out, simply remove the map light compartment, then remove the bad bulb and bring that to Autozone to get a new bulb. I don't know the size for that bulb so can't help you there.

I don't think you can turn it off; unless you want to put tape over it. Also, for my piece of mind it's "Infiniti".

Mine too! It's also written all over the car

Infinity is a speaker company.

No blue light is OEM
It's Infiniti, not Infinity
It's more than a 37s forum
To get in shape, I suggest jogging, squats, swimming and weights

I couldn't believe that no one commented on, "and I want to get into top shape for my wife." yet.

if it's blinking, it's broken.

Original poster here.

The blue blinking LED light is on the windshield, above and behind the rear view mirror. It seems to be apart of a small antenna that is hard wired into the back side of the mirror. I will have pictures and maybe a youtube video tomorrow.

Question 2. Does the 37s have adaptive headlights? Do they move within a corner?
