Hey everyone. I'm looking at buying a G37x coupe soon, and I had some questions about years and trims and such.

So I think I want to get an 09' X coupe, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like if I find one with the cutout on the bottom grill, I have found a car with the Technology package plus Premium and Navigation? I just want to get a fully loaded model if I can find one.

What about the 2010 model? I didn't find a list of any differences at all. Still would be looking for the X coupe. Any interior differences? Any added or removed tech? Anything other than the Aerodynamic Kit option? Does this or the 09 still have 4WAS? If not, can you add it to either 09 or 10?

Can you move/add fog lights in the 2010 to the same spot they are in the 2011 model?

Does the 2010 X come with the LSD? Can you swap to it afterwards on either 09 or 10 models?

I just want to find the best one for me, you know? Thanks in advance!

 

If you can find an X"S" coupe that would be preferred, it comes w/ bigger brakes/rotors, bigger wheels, sport seats w/ more settings, paddle shifters and a sport bumper (and probably a couple other items I missed).

 

I thought that only came in 2011 as an option? I'm looking at the 2009 and 2010 X coupes. I did see the XS though, and it is nice.

 

Go for the 2010 if you can. It has better leather on the steering wheel and also the updated Nav.
Edit: 4WS was only in 2008. I don't think it was well received so they stopped offering it. Also make sure to get a list of what updates were done to it. There were transmission updates and also brake judder TSBs.

 

Yes, 2011 was the first year for the xS coupe.
