Help!! My G37 stalled at highway speeds!!!
Nope none...and I was cringing looking for them! LoL
I think it was low pressure as well, but apparently it wasn't enough to do damage. I put the 2 quarts in to hold me over...I am not trying to risk anything with this car. But no lights, no sputter no nothin. And how it all went down: Start car...shut off. Start car...shut off. Roll to flat, start car quick throttle blip and all was well. Drove it 20 miles to work and parked. Put oil in before I left work and all has been kosher

My friend had the same problem on his 2006 G35X, it would just stall on him while driving and wouldnt start after till 20-30 min or even an hour after. brought it to the dealer and found out it was the TCM after 9 hours of diagnostics..so because on these cars the TCM is inside the tranny. they just ended up replacing whole tranny.. cost him $2000
Well things didn't go well at the dealership. I paid $150 for them to check out the car and they could not replicate the issue (go figure). They saw the video i recorded while this was happening and they said the car definitely went into LIMP mode but could not tell me why. They said they could keep the car and run more tests but since I'm out of warranty anything they do would be on my dime. I decided to get in my car and leave, since I knew it was only going to be a guessing game for them.
My car has worked perfectly fine since then. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but once I did the math on both times this has happened to me, It turns out I had traveled approximately 250-260 continous miles. Maybe it's just coincidence.
My oil level was fine as I had just changed the oil for the long trip. No warning lights ever turned on.

Did they hook up the Consult diagnostic tool and check for any pending codes? Did you happen to ask the dealership about the issue that Smackfactor1 mentioned in post #2 ??
The weirdest thing about your symptoms continues to be that there were no error codes or fault lights. Usually anything that triggers limp mode will also trigger a full blow Xmas tree lighting on your dash. This definitely is a very strange one!
The only thing of significance about your miles traveled each time would seem to be a potential heat factor. After driving that many hours, everything would certainly have been thoroughly warmed up. But then, I'd expect it to have reached those same exact temps before you even gone an hour.

BTW, post up your video if you get a chance.
