Need help/advise with sport spoiler

Hey guys so i recently bought this item from ebay, too good to be true i guess $175, but the guy said everything was OEM and camera ready. I have a 2010 coupe with the chrome wing. But my problem is there is no camera hole, on the inside part there is a square lining where the camera should be. i was thinking on taking it to my friends shop and have him cut it open, but im afraid it'll look cheapy. Anyone has had this problem? Should i just return it and get my money back? Thanks

A dremel tool w/ a steady hand should yield a clean cut, but obviously depends on the "steady hand"
Not having seen the spoiler firsthand I'm not sure if there's some finishing framework around that hole when it comes already cutout
Hopefully someone w/ that OEM spoiler can chime in.

Hundreds of stories here (ok, not hundreds but a lot) from people who didn't buy the OEM one from Infiniti and stuck with all sorts of problems. As you said ... bite the bullet and be hassle free.

Hopefully you're not out a cent since he admitted he sent the wrong part. Much better to start out fresh.

That's an OEM part, it just doesn't have the camera hole cut out. It can be adapted to work with the camera very easily, I've done it.

Why muck around, just get the right thing and FULL kit.

I have an OEM spoiler and the cut-out is surprisingly rough.

No finishing framework either, but it's not really noticeable; the only reason I even looked is another poster on this forum thought he had dislodged his back-up cam.

Hell, a 3/4" drillbit would probably do the job...

This is what happened to me. I have an 08 and I couldn't find any wings anywhere even the dealership in KH3. Found one listed on ebay for $199, with the camera included but the wrong color but bought it on the spot. Still spending less even though I have to have it painted.
