When I have my headlights in auto mode
I hear this ding when I get to about 80mph (no matter if the light are off or on)

What is that?

 

ok, idk if this was option on the G or not..but in my dads Z4 he has a speed alarm. You can set it to remind you to watch your speed. So obviously that would not have anything to do with your lights. So if you got the car after someone else and they had the alarm set...thats all I got.

 

But it only happens the one time.

 

My headlights are in auto mode and I do 80 lots (this is L.A.) and I've never heard a ding...

 

I think his does too...although he has now turned it off cuz it annoyed him! LoL
I am not sure if it kept dinging...i really dont remember
