08 Coupe leaks/weatherstripping question

I seem to have minor leaks at both the driver and passenger side "A" pillars. In a car wash or heavy rain trickles of water appear at the point where the little speakers are sitting on top of the doors. Can this be fixed with new weatherstripping? My assumption is that the piece of rubber that seals the windows up top is no longer 100% and should be replaced.

Yes it can be, our cars are prone to leaking here. if you're under warranty it should be no issue at all to have the dealer replace them. If you're not under warranty I don't know what the cost would be, but going through an independent mechanic would likely be the best bet.

The dealership stuck some foam behind/inside the weatherstripping near the A-pillar when my car was new and I complained about this.
