Blackvue dr400. Pretty old now. Going on 3 years I think. Still works well. I transfer it between 2 cars.

Sounds fantastic! Is the car all stock minus the sport muffler? Damn gotta love those VQ engines!

Sport muffler

So I am confused.

1) Why didn't Infiniti in their infinite wisdom put these on the G37S models to begin with? Big brake kit and "tuned" suspension, but no muffler upgrade?

2) You guys really think this sounds better than Tanabe?

More than likely this muffler is an option due to the majority of infiniti's customers not wanting the louder exhaust.

To your point, easy rider, I think that the G37S models should have come equipped with the sport exhaust from the factory.

For many of us, this exhaust is perfect. Nice guttural growl when you step in it, but relatively easy otherwise.

I had asked the dealer about this Sport muffler, they said it was a waste and to get axle back aftermarket, LOL! They said it wasn't much louder/better. I test drove an IPL and have to agree. Not worth $800 alone just for the muffler part. My dealer deals with Stillen products..

The dealer is clueless.

First of all the IPL doesnt have the Sport accessory muffler, similar tips but not even close. Sport is a stainless muffler from top to bottom, while the IPL simply has welded on tips.

If the G37S coupe is a 6 when it comes to sound with stock muffler, the Sport brings it up to a 10. Its MUCH, much louder. Period.

You can get it lower than $800. I bought it for $800 shipped about 3 years ago and still think its the best mod for the G.

Yes, i agree. The IPL muffler is not the same as the sport accessory muffler. I have the sport accessory muffler and it is loud for an OEM part. Also, there isn't any drone or fitment issues that people frequently encounter with aftermarket axle back options.
