I needed to replace my bumper for my 08 G37s and was wondering if the 2011 sports coupe bumper will fit? And what modifications I would have to do? I called Infiniti and the parts clerk says he's not sure, and tried searching for it, all I found was some guy tried to put it on his 2008 journey coupe and had problems with fog lights??? I hope someone could help me with this ! Thank you for reading!

 

It will fit with no issues, but as the other guy was saying, the 2008 models don't have the fog lights in the bottom of the bumper. That is why you would need to get the fog light assembly (and, apparently, the newer model's washer reservoir tank as well). Or you could just leave holes in the bottom where the fog lights would go.

 

O okay, I will do fog lights in the future but I guess I need a reservoir then, anyone know where to get it cheap ahah

 

A guy here in Atlanta just did his car, he said he didn't have to change the tank just the grill and added fog lights. He said he paid $300 for the grill and fog lights.

 

Perhaps that is the case. I did hear somewhere that the reservoir for the older models is too big or on the wrong side or something, and had to be changed out. Someone else may know for sure what the correct answer is.

 

I thought all the grilles on the coupes were the same ahah? Dam didn't know those were different as well

 

The tank only needed to be change if you where installing the IPL bumper with the fog lights and if you install the IPL bumper without the fog lights you didn't have to change the tank.

 

Alright thanks for the help but what about for the 2011 bumper do I have to change anything? I believe the grilles the same but would I have to change out the tank even if I'm integrating the fog lights?

 

I have one on my car. Had to buy these wiring harnesses for the fogs. Also have to buy a new reservoir to fit the fogs. I can dig up some pics if you'd like to see.
