When I replaced my cats with FI RHFC's, I took the OEM cats to a scrap yard and received $70.00 for them.

 

Its the platinum and other rare metals in the core... I read an article about a guy who had like 500 pounds of just the Catalytic Converter CORES... I'd love to know how much he banked.

Alright guys quick question, Resonated FI HFC or Non Resonated FI HFC whats the difference? It only states that the resonated are quieter on the website is the only difference to my knowledge please advice

 

What were your symptoms of bad cats, did you throw a CEL? I've been seeing more cases of cracked/rattling cats on these cars lately - the dealer replaced my driver side one under warranty due to the catalyst breaking free of the body and rattling.
