There were other threads on this forum that talked about authentic vs knock off but if you search google, you'll see why you're hurting the industry.

You don't have to be loaded to play the game and you don't need $1K+ for a good exhaust. I got my MXP catback for $700 shipped. The classifieds is an excellent place to start.
I don't understand why you posted this. I'm just showing off my new exhaust.

What industry am I hurting? I'd say those industries are out of my price range.

I know exactly what your going through; i was on the same spot. After many hours of researching and watching youtube videos, i decided to go for what i can afford at the moment. I ordered mine for about $230 on ebay; M2.

Fitment was not as bad as other people said. Mine are almost a perfect fit.
It is not the best quality, as mine had about quarter inch of rust at the tip.
sound was absolutely what ive been wishing for.

this is exactly how it sounds like, so if you like this sound i say go for it.

To give my personal rating.

quality 7/10
fitment and installation 8/10
sound 9.5/10
price 10/10

I agree with the whole you get what you pay for. If your within the budget i would get a quality exhaust. In my position, currently leasing my G and didnt want to spend alot if im not keeping it.

I got the same axleback, fitment was ok but i agree the finish isnt the best. If your looking for something cheap to give a little louder note than stock then you cant go wrong. The drone does increase like someone above said, cant go wrong for $190 tho.

Ok first off You think getting a custom exhaust work is more "ghetto" than some knockoff from ebay?and has poor fitment???? Second i have test pipes and muffler deletes and they sound wayyyyyy better than the M2 catback exhaust on ebay i know someone that has it and it sounds like crap. he has a G37 coupe btw.just my 0.02 cents.

I generally have no problem with ebay parts (except for coils). Wish I could see/hear the clips at work but I'm sure it sounds great. If you're happy and don't have overly high expectations then its all good. But in the end you do get what you pay for. I'm loving my Fujitsubo and the exhaust shop couldn't believe how great the quality and fitment was on it.

I also find it funny that no one complains about spending thousands on 20" wheels which in most cases is detrimental to performance.

Early on, in my quest to cost effectively mod my car I too picked up a set of these. Sure they're shiny and look like the Tanabe but I had them on my car for two months and couldn't take it much longer. Slapped my OEM mufflers back on and I realized how much better I liked it. I have personally bought and tested enough ebay parts to say, if you like it and you're happy with the quality etc, then you should put them and anything else you like on your car.

IMHO I consider these should be added to the ricer and G's thread.

yeah I bought these and returned them as soon as I got them.

You can tell in person they will not keep that finish.
